Assorted Saints and the Virtues Of Faith, Hope & Love Vacation
Bible School This summer
we’ll be having another fun-filled Vacation Bible
School. We are going to ‘discover the key to
heaven’ with the help of the ‘Assorted Saints.’ We’re hoping
that your kids will join us on our adventure. The adventure
runs from June 9 – 13, from 9:00AM – Noon
in Hurtado Hall. The cost is $35 per
child. Forms will be available in the narthex of
the church or parish office. Please fill
out a separate registration form for each
child. SPACE IS LIMITED; PROMPTLY
RETURN COMPLETED FORM TO THE
R.E. OFFICE. We are in need
of volunteers to help make this summer adventure happen!
Volunteers must be 14 years old or older. All volunteers must have the
Diocese of Phoenix Safe Environment Training. If

A big Welcome
to all the new families that registered in
2007/2008! An update of
new families that registered from April 1 through
December 31 2007, was 496, and from January
through March of 2008 193 families Registered.
Part-time Spanish & English BaptismCoordinator St. Mary’s - Chandler Under direction of the pastor, coordinates the Sacrament of Baptism among the Spanish & English speaking communities for St. Mary’s Parish. Coordinates Baptism classes and Sacrament of Baptism for both English & Hispanic families. Update and maintain baptism records and process baptism certificates. Collaborate with staff on any other related tasks as requested. Must have knowledge of Catholic practices and teachings regarding the duties required. Must be able to understand and carry out verbal and written directions (both in Spanish & English). Must know how to work with people and follow any and all policies and guidelines set down by the diocese and the pastor. The position is part-time (under 30 hours), therefore does not entitle company paid fringe benefits package established for regular employees. Salary to be determined based on experience. The St. Vincent de Paul Society has opened a Thrift Store near our parish. It is located at the Mercado Shopping Center, 2051 N. Arizona Ave. The store will have high quality clothing and household goods on sale at affordable prices. This location also accepts your donations of clothing and household items. Please deliver the goods to the rear of the store. There will be someone available to help you and issue a receipt for tax purposes. Hours: Monday thru Saturday 9AM to 6PM and Sunday 11AM to 4PM.
