From the Pastor . . .

We celebrate Holy Trinity in the Catholic world this week. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God, three persons, without conflict or division, living in a divine harmony. The Father who creates love and the Son was, uncreated and existing from all time, and the life breath of the Father and Son is the Holy Spirit, uncreated and existing out of time, yet closer to the Christian soul than our very breath. It is the creative, saving, life-giving God that we worship: it is they that we adore and owe our love, for it was in love that we were created and to love that we will finally return.

God bless,

In Honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

and Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Legion

of Mary will hold an overnight 12-

hour Adoration Friday, May 30, starting at

7:00PM. Please join us in silent adoration,

singing and devotions.

MAY is the month of honoring Mary, Our Mother! The Legion

of Mary is sponsoring a LIVING ROSARY

at 7:00AM, followed by HOLY MASS in

Church, and then MAY CROWNING MAY 31.

We need five adults from each parish ministry to

take part in the Living Rosary, and as many children

for the May Crowning. Please bring flowers

from your garden or from store to offer to our

Mother. Please contact Emie at (480) 814-9085 or Aryn at

(480) 963-4424.

Have you had your home enthroned to the Sacred

Heart? And Divine Mercy Image installed? The

purpose behind enthronement is to put on the throne

in our homes, The True King of Kings. It is not

just a ceremony, it is giving up of ourselves to Him

for Him to rule our lives, our homes, our families.

In doing so, we mount an image of the Sacred Heart in a prominent

place within our home. For more information, please contact

Emie at (480) 814-9085. Sponsored by the Legion of Mary

HOW DID YOU HEAR THE GOOD NEWS TODAY?

This week’s collection supports the

Bishops’ CATHOLIC COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN

(CCC). For more than 25 years, the CCC has been spreading the Gospel message

locally and nationally on radio, television, in print, and on the

Internet. It is only through donations from Catholic parishioners that the work of the CCC

is possible. Please contribute generously to the Campaign in the upcoming parish

collection. Half of the collection will remain in our (arch) diocese to fund local Catholic

communication efforts.

Visit www.CatholicCommunicationCampaign.org for national

program information. The Catholic Communication
